Lutheran East Welcomes New VP of Admissions
Lutheran High School East excitedly welcomes Ms. Constance Conner as its next Vice Principal of Admissions & Enrollment.
Ms. Conner takes over this role from Mr. Matt Luecke, who will now serve Lutheran East as Vice Principal of Faculty & Curriculum, a new position for the school. In this role, Mr. Luecke will focus on the elevation of Lutheran East curriculum and course offerings, as well as on continuous professional development of the teaching faculty.
Ms. Conner attended Lutheran East and Charles F. Brush High School before going on to play basketball and earn Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology, and Criminal Justice from Lourdes University. She then obtained her Master’s degree in Public Administration from Ashford University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in the Philosophy of Education.
Professionally, Ms. Conner has successfully served in roles with several organizations as a Prevention Specialist, Intervention Service Coordinator, and Dean of Students.
Parallel to her professional career, she is heavily involved in activities revolving around community advocacy and youth services. She has served as a public speaker, training educators on various topics related to education and diversity. In 2019, she was asked to speak at the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Program on the topic of working with underserved communities. Additionally, Ms. Conner is a dedicated coach, working with basketball programs. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Coach with the Lutheran East girls’ basketball program.
Personally, Ms. Conner enjoys spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews. Her father, Chris Conner ’83, is a graduate of Lutheran East. She is thrilled to begin her full time role at Lutheran East working with families to guide them through the admissions and enrollment process.
